fossil rim vacation

over spring break my family vacationed to a wild park called fossil rim. this place is so much fun! you drive around the park and wild animals will come up to your car and you can feed them food that you purchase at the beginning of the trail it was alot of fun seeing and feeding the different animals. we saw all kinds of dear, rhinos, giraffes, birds, fish, bugs, zebra, and many others.

the trip itself over all was fun, but being with my family driving for several hours and sleeping in one small hotel room for two nights especially when your with your brother who's only one year old. it was exhausting haha. i love texas.

my choice

well as you have probly read from my earlyer posts i'm facing a disapointing problem :( earlyer me and my dad had planed to go to utah for vacation. i had also recently found out that i had made the talent show singing my heart will go on. i have been waiting a long time to visit utah again, and also been practicing really hard for the talent show. so i though all was well because both were going to happen...WRONG the day that the talent show is taking place i am schedueled to be in utah. sad, but true. also during the time i would be in utah is a big choir concert, but i faced my decision that i will go to utah and miss the talent show and choir preformance. i already made up for missing the choir concert and well because of my cowardness haven't told the talent show director that i'm not attending. the lady scares me and i'm afraid of getting into trouble, so i'm acctually not planning on ever telling her ;) haha. but i'm excited for utah even though i am a little disapointed about what i am going to be missing out on, but it's all good.

gone fishing

yesterday night me, my dad, cameron, and ethan went fishing. we haven't been in a while so we were a little rusty. but we quickly sprung back into action. we are born fishermen/women :) we took a trip down to an old pond located in our old neighborhood. we quickly caught a small total of only 5-7 fish. we usually catch around 11 so i was a bit disappointed. i caught the first fallowing with two others. Ethan caught two, and Cameron caught the last little fishy. it's a tradition for us to try and play with our little fish that we caught a little bit and then of course give them an amazing name! haha. it was so much fun. in the picture above I'm holding the first fish of the night, Robert. haha. i love fishing <3

PROBLEMS PROBLEMS

okay there have been many confusing and unfortunate things going on lately. and lets just say it's not fun at all in anyway whatsoever..

i made the talent show, which is sceduled to take place on april 3rd. i'm supposed to be in utah during this time. as if that wasn't enough my choir's "supper bowl" of the year called UIL is on april 4th also a day that i am supposed to be in utah. my parents gave me premition to skip going to utach and my younger brother would get to go, so i could get a good grade in choir and sing in the talent show. i talked with my choir teacher and she said that it would be fine if i missed the concert.

the only reason why i care so much about the talent show is that i finally gained up enough courage to try out and sing in front of people and i was one of the few people that made it.

i haven't quite made up y mind yet, but it will be difficult to decide between the talent show in utah. i am leaning more towards utah though.

i made the talent show!

haha yay. when it was my turn to sing they told me i had one minute. i had my "assistant" put my CD in on track two (the kareoke version of my heart will go on). that's when i started to shake like crazy! and i could enedietly feel my face turning red! i looked out at the judges, one of which was my teacher. and she smiled at me which made me feel better. but then of cours i did a terrible thing i looked down at my music and never ever looked away. i knew i was doing that at the time, but i feared that if i looked away and out at the audience that i would start getting really nervous. so i stared down at my music and sung into the microphone in front of about 40 people. i know that wasn't much, but i hate being judged! i only had enough time to sing, "every night in my dreams i see you i feel you that is how i know you go on far accross the distance and spaces between us you have come to show you go on near far wherever you are i believe that the heart does go on." and then they cut me off with a loud "TIME"! i walked off the stage with a big smile and it had gone very! although it had'nt felt like a whole minute so i feared that they had cut me off, because it was bad. but a lot of people applauded and told me how well i did, so i was feeling pretty good about it. i could still feel my face burning up though. wow i was so proud of myself. the next morning when i got to school i went straight over to where the cuts were posted, but i wasn't on the list of people who made the cuts. I WAS ON THE LIST OF PEOPLE WHO WERE AUTOMATICALLY IN THE TALENT SHOW! yay i made it :) i'm so happy.

TRIP TO UTAH

me and my dad are coming up to visit family in west jordan, utah. me and my dad will most likely be staying with my gradparents(my dad's parents). i have so many cusins and aunts and unckles there so it should be a lot of fun seeing everyone again! the last time i saw them was last july. i live in texas where it is so HOT even at this time of year. it will be nice to get some cool air. we are leaving april 2nd and coming home april6th. i'm so excited! i haven been on an airplane in two years and i love air planes! i'll miss thursday and friday of school, but i honestly dont care. i'm just excited that i am going to see some family. unfortunately i will only be there a few days, but we'll have to see what happens.

my heat will go on

talent show auditions are on march 10-12 and i'm freaking out! i'm auditioning on the song "my heart will go on," the theme song for Titanic, my favorite movie :) i'm so nervous, but i have been practicing really hard. i will let you know how my audition goes later. wish me luck please.

these are my top three electronics! going left to right we have my laptop, my cell phone, and my camera. i find great pleasure in surfing the web, texting my friends, taking pictures, and calling my friends. i am very lucky to have all three of these electronics.

yes, no very well but i can. i prefer a wave board or rip-stick though.

because once apon a time someone mean decided to throw a rock at a man. the mean guy threw the rock and yelled "headsup!" the man looked up and got hit in the head with the rock. the mean guy hit the man. so now when someone yells "headsup" everyone knows to look duck just incase a mean person is playing a trick on you. after a while people thought that "headsup" really ment to duck, because that's what everyone would do. the end.

i would, because i love to sing. but i'm affraid to because one time when i was singing in the shower my mom came into the bathroom and started recording me! ever sense then i havent. GOSH MOM!

the water. i love swiming. but if the water is gross like it often is then maybe i would just walk along the shore and play in the sand :)

i hate "favorite" question, because that means i have to pick on over others. that's not very nice to the other movies. but i like a lot of movies.

haha. wow yes! all the time. i get in trouble for that at school. i always have to be moving or talking or doing something else annoying.

um...both i guess. it just depends what mood i'm in. i usually take a shower though.

haha. hmm..well i think geometry is stupid. i understand it and all, but when on earth am i going to need that? ponder on that.

i have messed around with my brothers a lot. i know i shouldnt, but i do. i'm not too bad though :) i have been bullied before, but it doesnt bother me.

hahaha um...i dont see how that is possible, but yeah. i guess so. save time. and i guess would be more comfortable.

PFD

i'm currently taking a class called pfd(personal and family development) a home economics class that will count as one high school credit. this class constantly has me on my toes. you may have read from my aunts blog that i had to bring home a mechanical baby for the weekend. i called that little plastic thing "Emily". this mechanical child has sensers on it's back, arms, legs, head, and stomach. each one has a battery, a sound system(to make it coo and cry), and of course a tamper and abuse light. if you harm the baby in any way the abuse light will com on and that will greatly effect your grade. there is also the tamper light which turns on when you mess around with the baby's wireing. each baby prices between $300 and $500, you break it you buy it. to feed, change, burp, and play with the baby you insert the correct key into the baby's back. there is also a "panic" key that will make the baby stop crying if you have tried all of the other keys and still can't get the child to stop crying. if this key is ever inserted into the baby it will also take off a large number of points from your grade. (my aunt accidentally inserted this key, so the tamper light turned on. i dont know what happened, but the tamper light turned off after 2 days.)i'm sure i would have not mind her so much, if she hadn't cried ever 15 minutes from 11:00pm-6:00am. the assignment was supposed to teach us that we shouldn't have children until we are married..and trust me I WON'T! there is NO hurry for me to have children. i'm still waiting to see what grade i got on the assignment, but i personally think it will be a 100%, well that's what i think i deserve anyway. haha.

after finishing our amazing baby challenge our teacher assigned a gingerbread house project. well all found this an odd assignment, because we were finished with the cooking portion of the year and Christmas is over, but we didn't argue. the challenge sounded fun :) my group (including me and two of my friends) got assigned the "multi-plex" home, which holds three family's. we each brought in candy, boxes, and other things that we could use to build our masterpiece. my friends and i found it a fun challenge, but when we found out that it was a competition things began to get a little competitive. we got into a few lets just say not so pleasant conversations with other groups about how many gram crackers they used or what type of icing they were using. haha.but in the end it was really fun. my group got first place in our class and third place in all our whole middle school :) i call it a yummy, sticky, success.

my new blog :)

I'm so excited to start blogging! haha. "blogging" what a funny word. i think it's a word?...anyway. my mom made me a blog for my birthday a few years back, but i never really got involved in it. a few minutes ago i actually tried to log on to my old blog, "purple makes people happy," but i haven't been on it in so long that i forgot how. haha. now i am more experienced with computers and know how to type, so i think i will be a lot more involved with my new blog. i also think that this will be a fun way for me to keep a journal. i have had uncountable journals/diary's and never been able to keep writing in it. i hope this will be easier and more fun for me and still allow me to keep a journal. well an online journal that is. anyway I'm making it a new goal to write in my new blog, this blog frequently. thanks for reading <3>
